I am a Writer, Editor and Creative Project Manager with a passion for storytelling. A two-time Florida State University graduate, I currently serve as Director of Communications at the Florida League of Cities. Prior to joining the League, I served in various publishing, communications and public relations roles at Florida State University including Editor-in-Chief of VIRES, FSU’s award-winning alumni magazine, Interim Director of Communications at the Alumni Association, Marketing and Communications Manager at the Career Center and Media Specialist at the College of Education. In addition, I am a freelance writer in my spare time. I am very involved in my community and served on the Board of Directors for the Tallahassee Network of Young Professionals from 2017-2020, where I led the organization for two of those years as President. I am also on the council of my local community band, the Lofty Pursuits Marching Band, where I manage the organization’s social media.
